EVENT DETAILS

We're bringing our A-Game this year. Please join us for an amazing day full of education, awareness, and a proper amount of spoiling of our local caregiver community! The day will begin with coffee, kombucha, and mingling at 9a and will stretch to 4p. We'll follow the day with a mixer hosted by Tribucha Kombucha at their brewery in Cary, NC! Lunch will service all dietary needs (vegan, keto, vegetarian, pescatarian), and we'll have complimentary headshots provided and resume consultants on site! 

• The Nurtured Nest will be discussing Baby Led Weaning + Toy Minimization.
• The Executive Director of the LGBTQ Center of Durham will be discussing sexuality, gender awareness, and progressive approaches to having conversations about this with kiddos at different developmental stages. 
• Drag Queen Story Time will be running a panel on gender awareness! 
• Social Justice Story Time will be discussing cultural awareness!
• We'll have a "What the heck is Common Core Math?" session taught by a local teacher who gets it. 
• We'll be discussing conflict resolution and how to advocate for yourself in tough situations.
• We'll also be hosting a brief CPR refresher (because there is never enough of this to go around). 
• Caring for the Caregiver will also be hosted by Triangle Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center. 
• Triangle Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center will also touch on RIE!
• Curious about Newborn Care Specialist trainings? We'll have a Q&A for this as well! 

In addition, this year we'll be donating 25% of the proceeds from this event to the LGBTQ Center of Durham and 25% to relief efforts in Puerto Rico! We do have a small scholarship fund for nannies attending to need some help with the cost of the event! 

Local businesses will be putting together amazing swag bags for our attendees as well!
